Ernest Zacharevic is a Lithuanian-born contemporary artist internationally recognized for his large-scale murals that seamlessly integrate painting, sculpture, and the surrounding urban environment. After studying at Middlesex University in London, he developed a practice centered on storytelling, creating works that invite interaction between art, architecture, and everyday life.
Zacharevic gained worldwide recognition through his acclaimed series of murals in George Town, Penang, where his site-specific works became cultural landmarks and helped redefine public art's role in shaping communities. His ability to merge realistic portraiture with found objects and architectural elements has established him as one of the most influential muralists of his generation.
